" now we’ve got the whole stadium in love. "

yesterday, made my way to H's house to visit his mother
to wish her happy mother's day, which i totally forgot all
about it when i reached there. had lunch at naked fish express
at bukit panjang plaza. 'twas a very heavy lunch, i'd say.

so, H brought me to tampines retail park 'cause i never
been there before and the place is friggin' HUGE! H works
around the area so he gave me a tour around too.

firstly, went to courts as he was looking for a new hard disk
for his movies and how i met your mother episodes. as for me,
i was looking at the digital slr cameras which i've been wanting
for so long but not sure whether should i really get it. ah, fickle.

after courts, we crossed over to ikea. as you might not know,
i want to revamp my entire bedroom. i have some interesting ideas
and inspirations in my head which i hope it'll turned out good.

ikea was full with children and trolleys. oh yes,
'twas a saturday. on a lighter note, the place is huge to
accommodate everyone. personally, i prefer tampines's
ikea over alexandra's because firstly, it's huge and other
than that, they have a lot of furniture and pieces which
you can't find at alexandra. if i were to go there again,
i won't go on a weekend, definitely. lesson learnt!

throughout the walk around the showroom, H and i kept on
"if i have my own house, i want this and that. put this with that"
and on and on... until we reached the market hall. i have to say
that i was amazed when we went to the self serve furniture area.

although our food from naked fish express were still digesting,
we had ikea's hot dog bun and brownies before leaving. well,
why go to ikea without eating their a dollar hot dog bun? :)
speaking of which, there was a huge queue at the counter
and people eating at the bistro, not clearing after their food.

in the late evening, trained down to city hall to meet up
with my colleagues for effran's and my birthday celebration
at marina barrage. knowing that they won't arrive just yet since
they were from work, H and i walked around marina square,
had dinner at millenia walk's coffee bean & tea leaf and
walked again at raffles city till our legs were so tired.

after much later, trained down to marina bay.
waiting for the bus seems to take forever and we
decided to cab over. this is actually the third birthday
celebration my colleagues had planned for me.

" i wanna say thank you so much for doing this for me.
i appreciate it very much. i love each and everyone of you. "

the view is always magnificent at marina barrage with the bright lights
and skyscrapers. 'twas a breezy night too. not forgetting, pretty
crowded as it's a weekend and there was an event on that day.
